Here’s a wrap up of what I’m reading lately. To get daily updates on this check most of the way down on the right hand column of www.itsfrugalbeinggreen.com.
Finance
- Roth IRAs for Children at Free Money Finance – I’ve posted before that my parents helped me set up a Roth IRA when I was 16 and had my first job. That will probably end up being the best thing I ever did financially
- Microbudgeting: Keep Costs Under Control with a Baby-Step Budget at Funny About Money – I budget on a monthly basis but I can see weekly working out pretty well too. If monthly wasn’t working for me I’d give this a try
Food
- Save Money on Food and Eat Better: Part 1 at Smart Family Tips – I was just realizing that the money I’m saving by meal planning and couponing is helping me eat better too
- DIY Girl Scout Cookies at The Kitchn – a craze is hitting the nation. I’ve got some of these on my list of things to make
- Stained Cookbooks at Slashfood – I’ve always believed that the best cookbooks and the best recipes are the ones that are the most stained
- Save Money at the Grocery Store with these Tips, No Coupons Needed at Common Sense with Money – great tips, but these tips in combination with coupons is even better
