Spring seems to have arrived in my area this weekend. It was time to pull out some capris and flip flops, which lead to re-evaluating my wardrobe.
I made my returns that I had been contemplating earlier this week. They all went surprisingly smoothly. No trouble getting full price back even way past the return dates and at Nordstrom without my receipt, I was pleasantly surprised.
I refolded all the clothes in my closet so they’re in neat piles and organized by color which will hopefully make getting dressed easier. I also tried on a bunch of stuff that in my head I knew didn’t fit and listed that on ebay to clear up some space. (There are a few more things that I may put on ebay in a couple weeks but I’m just not ready to part with yet. But any progress is good progress.)
I ordered some new flip flops (somehow the mall had every size but mine in every style I liked). Both of my black pairs of flip flops are wearing through the soles and need to go in the trash (this repeats itself every year, flip flops are the one thing I wear out without fail).
I put away my big black purse and picked a light green one from my closet. Also put away my scarf and gloves for storage.
And the easiest and most significant thing I did to clean up was throw out all the empty boxes that were under my bed and on the top shelf of my closet.
