Apple’s new iPods were announced yesterday. Apple products are apparently my greatest weakness when it comes to “needing” the newest and best, fortunately (this time around) my 8gb iPhone and 2nd generation iPod Shuffle are still the newest and best so I didn’t need to order anything new yesterday. I am in no position to discourage the purchase of the latest iPod.
In the past few weeks however I have sold 4 old iPods and their various accessories on eBay. Regardless of condition and whether or not they are working iPods still have value. iLounge.com’s iPod book 3 has great info on the value of older iPods and how to go about selling them, either on or off eBay. Check it out if you’re upgrading.
