Using coupons for to maximize my grocery budget has made room for me to spend money on grocery items that I would not have skipped or substituted out on in the past such as heavy cream for the mustard cream sauce and the Boston Cream Pie cupcakes and tarragon (I do have a couple spice coupons in my stash right now) and gruyere cheese for the turkey burgers. Coupons have allowed me to eat better more divine meals than ever before on my same old grocery budget. Here’s what’s in store for this week now that the boyfriend is out of the hospital:
- Meatloaf from The Better Homes and Gardens Cookbook, tator tots and/or leftover Roasted Sweet Potatoes and Pears from Everyday Food: Great Food Fast that are in the freezer, and salad
- Sauteed Chicken in Mustard Cream Sauce from Everyday Food: Great Food Fast and Caramelized Brussels Sprouts with Lemon from Everyday Food magazine
- Turkey Burgers, Parmesan Steak Fries (both from Everyday Food Great Food Fast), and salad
- Baking: Boston Cream Pie cupcakes from Cupcakes! and Blueberry Crumb Cake from Everyday Food Great Food Fast

Are the roasted sweet potatoes and pears one dish? I’ve pan fried (like sauteing) onions and sweet potatoes before, but I’ve never had them with pears. Sounds interesting!
@Algebra Teacher
