I have a printer that I hate. It worked great with my PC but since I’ve converted to a MAC, the printer has been a pain in the butt. So much a pain that I’ve printed things with it maybe twice in the past two years.
I’ve considered getting rid of this printer many times but it was expensive and when it worked without so much hassle it was a really great printer. But since I’m so iffy on whether or not it worked at all I wasn’t willing to sell it on eBay and since electronics are so hard on the environment I didn’t want to throw it away.
The elementary school by my house is have an electronics recycling fund raiser today. Somehow I can take them my old electronics for disposal for free and they make money from it, not 100% sure how that works but it sounds like it’s good for everyone.
I’m taking my dreaded printer and my old DVD player (I received an HD Blu-ray DVD player as a gift a few weeks ago). And I’ve talked my dad into getting rid of his 2 broken printers (they are 2 of the same exact printer model no less).
It feels good already to have the desk space that my evil printer used to occupy clear. Why did I wait so long to do this?
