Ice Cream Maker on the Way

I was really craving homemade ice cream today so I popped over to Amazon to order my Kitchenaid ice cream maker attachment (I love when I can get more out of something I already own rather than having to buy a totally separate gadget). They’ve dropped the price down $5, a bit more than 6%, from when I originally put it in my cart to think about which was a nice surprise savings. I’ve been planning to buy this for over two months now and this savings just goes to show that sometimes it pays to wait.

OK, the question now is… what’s the first flavor of ice cream you will make in your new ice cream maker? Hmmm?

So, so jealous!!!! You’ll have to post how you like it. I’ve been coveting that attachment for my stand mixer for quite some time, and just haven’t gotten the gumption to purchase it (or the additional cabinet space to store it!).

I’ve been eying this since I bought my mixer back in February. I’ve always wanted to make my own ice cream but buying a whole ice cream maker seemed like too much (especially considering I have no more storage space left in my kitchen). This attachment seems a lot more economical. I hope you’ll update with your thoughts about it!
