Grocery Deals 6/7

Got my groceries at PW Market this week. The farmers market was closed for an art and wine festival in the same location so I wasn’t able to get my produce there this week. I did sign up for a CSA (community supported agriculture) service and will get my first box on Wednesday (I’ll tell you all about it on Thursday so make sure to check back then) and I picked up the other produce items I need for this week’s menu at the grocery store.

I was pleased to find that the cheapest egg and goat cheese options at the grocery store were also locally produced.

I also finally found the Purina Kitten Chow to buy with that free product coupon from a few weeks back. The boxes were priced at $2.39 and the coupon only made them free up to $2.19 so I paid $0.20 a box which isn’t bad. My cat is no longer a kitten but I’ll just mix this in with her regular food and she’ll be perfectly happy.

This week I spent $12.20. Saved $0.80 with my bag refund and store sales and $4.38 with coupons.
