I spent $33.72 at the grocery store this week (PW Market). Saved $5.17 total, 15%. Saved $3.55 with coupons, 11%. PW Market also offers a free Sunday paper with any purchase on Sundays.
PW Market seems to be the best place to shop for beef. This USDA Prime grade top sirloin was $5.99/lb. I think I’ve decided that the farmers market is the best for produce (at least during the summer), Trader Joe’s is the best for dairy and couponless dry goods, and Costco is the best for chicken. Safeway is only good for things on sale and they didn’t even have anything good this week.
