I’ve been following your blog for some time now and LOVE that someone close to my own age enjoys and appreciates all the same things I do! My budget as a full time grad student and part time archaeologist and teacher doesn’t leave a lot of wiggle room, but I never cease to amaze everyone with my money saving skills!

I’ve been doing this off and on for the past few months, thanks to the stockpiling strategy that began when I bought a freezer. That allows me to buy a lot of food, and to prepare tasty meals ahead and freeze them.

LOL! My fridge is so full of Christmas leftovers, I figure it’ll be another two weeks before I have to buy food again!

My friend and his partner just completed this challenge before going out of town for awhile. They found some pretty creative uses for some things (like bacon grease as a substitute for butter).
