Drugstore shopping got pushed back into the evening yesterday as I spent the day at the beach to beat the 100+ degree heat. Here’s what I picked up this week:
Longs/CVS
St. Ives Apricot Scrub trial size – $1.29, used $1.50/1 mq, cashier adjusted coupon so I could use it on the trial size
Rite Aid
Alaway eyedrops – $7.99, used $4/1 mq, will receive $7.99 rebate for a $4 overage
All the free eyedrops that have been available lately have been a special blessing for me. I became a contact wearer in February this year and my eye doctor recommended that I apply eyedrops at least twice a day. As allergy season has arrived, my allergy medicine has dried my eyes out even more and I’ve needed to use the eye drops quite a bit more frequently. If I don’t use them my eyes get so dry that my contacts randomly fly out, I lost two last month. The four bottles of free eyedrops I’ve picked up in the past month or so have allowed me to keep some in additional useful locations like at work and in my purse.
