So you want to keep your house clean but you don’t want to have to spend hours cleaning at a time. I break my cleaning down into 30 minute chunks that I do each day.
Sunday – Laundry
Monday – Bathrooms
Tuesday – Garden/Watering
Wednesday – Garbage/Recycling
Thursday – Kitchen
Friday – Garden/Watering
Saturday – Vacuum
Aside from these chores, I put things away as I’m done using them and do my dishes nightly. If I get a day or two behind I still don’t have too much to do at once. If I’m having guests I’ll take the time to dust and wash the windows but otherwise there isn’t much to do.
What’s your cleaning schedule?

Thanks for posting this! Reminds me to put my chores on a weekly schedule. Right now I put it off to the weekend and get overwhelmed by all the tasks I feel like I *have* to complete before Monday rolls around.
I don’t have a yard, but once a week I need to clean out my kittens’ litterbox in addition to all the daily scooping, and I’ll add swiffering my kitchen floor and foyer.
Thanks again! Love your tips! =)
Thanks for posting this! I always wind up leaving my chores to the weekend, and then get stressed out about completing everything in time for Monday. I’ve been meaning to make a chore schedule and here’s your post!
Since I don’t have a yard, I’ll adapt those two days. One will be emptying and cleaning our kittens’ litterbox, in additional to all the daily scooping, and the other will be swiffering our kitchen floor and foyer.
Thanks again! Love all your tips! =)
