Inspired by Money Saving Mom, I had a baking day today.
- Rice Krispy treats
- Blackberry Crumb Bars from an old issue of Everyday Food magazine
- Blueberry Muffins with Streusel Topping from the Better Homes & Gardens Cookbook
I live alone so baking and freezing is a great way for me to have a variety of baked goods on hand and be able to eat them all (in reasonable portions) before they go bad.
I also like the idea of baking all on one day because you only have to heat up the oven once which makes it more energy efficient.
