Here’s my frugal list of things I’ll be doing this weekend. What are your weekend plans?
- Clean the house. Now that my floors are cleaner than ever with my new-to-me Dyson, I’m inspired to get the rest of the house as clean as the carpet. A clean home is a way more enjoyable place to relax so I’ll be less tempted to leave the house and spend money.
- Visit the library. I’ve got two books I’m done with and ready to return. My hold on Tim Ferriss’ The 4-Hour Workweek is finally ready to pick up too. I’m excited to read up on his time saving ideas.
- Catch up on entertainment debt. iTunes says I have over 9 days of media (music, movie, tv shows, podcasts, audiobooks) that I haven’t listened to/watched even once. Time to start making a dent.
- Bake no knead bread. While I was on my trip a few weeks ago I got some delicious cherry jam from the Amana Colonies as my only souvenir and it’s absolutely perfect on toasty hot bread. I just finished my last loaf so it’s time to bake another.
